在dreamhost购买的账户被封,官方的处理办法令人费解

早起接到邮件说违反他们的TOS和涉嫌欺诈,于是发邮件询问具体情况。

官方回复如下

would only help people avoid triggering it).

I’m sorry but you will need to take your hosting elsewhere.

对此我没法接受,于是发邮件质疑

what!?I think this is your fraud system problems. Your fraud system in
response to payment only for so long, and my website has been running
here for two weeks more. Do you take my money and then say that I am
fraud, This is simply ridiculous!
where is my money?do you pay back to my card?

In fact I think your hosting space is good, if they can point out
where the violation, I can make the appropriate changes or
compensation.
of course i can go out but i need my account available 48
hours, i will move my hotsting to elsewhere.

官方回复,只说了退款的事情,但是没有说给不给我事前迁移数据:

Your account will not be reactivated for any period of time.

我现在都不知道具体是什么导致我账号被封且涉嫌欺诈,这个dreamhost一直是用作博客和站点静态文件的,无缘无故被封,着实令人气恼。不知道他们的反欺诈系统是他妈怎么工作的。对于TOS的违反就更扯淡了,连具体是哪一条都不说,恐怕是莫须有……

    Dreamhost对TOS是非常认真的,任何虚假交易信息(非真实IP地址,非真实地址邮编,非真实姓名身份,非真实信用卡信息等)都可能会导致帐号被封。我认识北美的DH用户,使用真实信息使用DH多年一直没有问题。

    @Leo, 关键是这个完全不透明,他说你违反你就违反,从公众对dreamhost的评价来看,我认为他们对中国客户并不友好。这次被关,我猜测是因为我使用了优惠码导致dreamhost不爽了。

    @jean, 也可能我们都不太习惯美国人方式。TOS还是足够明确的,如果你没有使用虚假交易信息,那应该就是因为优惠码的问题。对于大陆IP和地址使用优惠码,人家定的规则就是做退款处理的。如果你想告诉他们你自己并非是劣质客户,让他们继续做你的生意,就得证明给他们看。
